who is the top 189 lb and 215 lb wrestlers in Region 6 I haven't heard much about these weight classes

Who do we have to pick from?

I'm not sure who is in the 189 and 215 lb classes I have seen much discussion on region 6

even more important. in the new rankings campbell county is 2nd and ryle is 3rd. what are the odds one of these teams can take out trinity?

Anyone care to take a shot at who makes it to state out of each weight class?

I don't know enough kids in our region to even begin to attempt it.

My only predictions are the kids I am familiar with

TJ Ruschell will likely win our region at 119/112, which ever weight he goes

Garth Yenter will likely win 103 this year if he is at that weight

Michael Osborne and Cooper will have a good match for 125 or 130 which ever weight they go

Palmer at 130/135

TJ bates at 135/140

Shotwell at 145

Jake Lee at 160

Thats the extent of the kids I am familiar with.

I was told that SK would  top 189 lb followed by Ryle then Holms in region 6 I thought CC would be top. Who else is there?

I think I would have to agree with what ranger has.

1. Nathan Ilg (Camp)

2. Dockery (Con)

3. Van Winkler (SK)

Maybe 2 and 3 could flip.

I'm not sure who you are thinking about from Ryle and Holmes.  Neither have anyone in the ranger rankings.

I was getting my info from a SK wrestler,the kid from Holmes last name was Jones but he may have graduated and Ryle and CC always have good wrestlers. Dockery I seen at a football game the other night he sure doesn't look like he is 189 maybe 215

Where do you see Region 6 in the mix? Looks like CC ,Cooper and Ryle are going to have a good group not to sure about Conner.

I think Ranger is real close on how he has them picked.

My main question is what will the other teams bring to the mix? Will Brossart get a guy there this season? What do Boone, Conner, Dixie, Holmes, and Newport bring to the table this season? We do have a general idea of what those teams have, but are there going to be any suprises? So many questions, but it will be interesting to see what happens when the season progresses.

Wow! I don't know why but I didn't realize how many schools were in each region. Is there a Region that typically rules year over year ? I went to several meets last year Region 6 for the most part Ryle seem to dominate with CC coming in a close second it looked like the other schools had a few good wrestlers in different weight classes but not enough to build enough team points. All classes are exciting to watch but because I know the Boone County 189 kids,I guess makes it the most exciting for me. How will the 189 guys match up this year both in the region and in the state assuming no injuries through out the year. As you may guess I am kinda new to the sport but I love it.
