If a wrestler is certified and has made 50% or more of his selected weight class throughout the season then why can't we just have one weigh-in the first day for the state tournament?

Because what would some of the wrestlers weigh when it came time for the semis and the finals ? you would prolly have a 130 pounder weighing in @ 140 or more.
