Blazer grapplers sweep matches

University Heights Academy swept a pair of wrestling dual matches from visiting Fort Campbell and Trigg County on Tuesday night.

The Blazers defeated the Wildcats 51-24.

Winners for UHA included Trae Blackwell, Wade Willen, Taylor Saturley, Cameron Montgomery, Colton Hall, Cory Allen, Daniel Urban, Brandon Borneman and Mack Moore.

Trigg winners were Jayven Jones, Michael White, Trent Bush and Michael Parker.

UHA returned to the mat and edged the Falcons 41-33.

Blackwell, Coby Lancaster, Wllen, Saturley, Montgomery, Urban, Borneman and Taylor Cornelius picked up wins for the Blazers.

Fort Campbell had wins from Zach Green, Jake Tillinghast, Ben Gittings, Johalbert Guillen, Chris Guillbeau and Tyler Nikolao.

The Falcons (2-2) picked up a victory by beating Trigg 57-24.

Earning wins for Fort Campbell were David Sahms, Tyrell Jones, Josh Green, Zach Green, Tillinghast, Gittings, Tyler England, Guillen, Sam Gittings and Guillbeau.

Trigg winners included Ryan Callogly, Devanie Cunningham, Dillon Cionko and Dillen Howard.

The Fort Campbell wrestling team won a match and lost a match in a tri-meet against Trigg County and University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville, Tuesday.

The Falcons put a wallop on Trigg County, 57-24, but lost their match to UHA, 41-33.
