Patriot Wrestler's Third in NAIA

University of the Cumberlands (formerly Cumberland College) men’s wrestling team is entering the post-season with a third place ranking. UC still has three returning All-Americans ranked first in their particular weight classes according to the NAIA polls released this past week.

At the 125Ibs weight class junior Delrico Choates (Ft. Pierce, FL) is entering the post-season with only one loss and remains number one in the NAIA rankings. At the 141Ibs weight class Junior Brad Cooper (Morningview, KY) remains strong at the first place spot on the polls. Sophomore Dustin Center is ranked fifth at the 149Ibs weight class. Senior Todd Allen is ranked fifth in the NAIA rankings at the 174lbs division. Junior Eric Flinchum (Crestview, FL) is still the number one wrestler in the 197Ibs division in the polls with an all win no loss record.

The Patriots will head to Iowa on March 3-4, 2006 to go through the final battle as they compete in the NAIA National Championship for the national title and individual championship titles.
