Four go undefeated in dual meet at Harrison

EVANSVILLE - Union County wrestlers had two days of tough competition last Friday and Saturday at Evansville Harrison High School in a ten team dual meet tournament.

Union had four wrestlers go undefeated: 103-lb Brock Ervin went all nine of his matches; 112-lb Jeffrey Wurth went 6-0; 135-lb Isaac Thomas went 9-0 and at 140 pounds, Caleb Ervin went 9-0.

Union County showed improvement the last two weeks as they had previously lost to Harrison at Castle. This past dual meet had Union on top with a score of 38-34. One of the key matches of this meet was at 103 lbs when Brock Ervin, an 8th grader, defeated senior Dylan Hall, a three-time state qualifier and a two-time state medalist in Indiana with a score of 10-6. Brock was voted outstandING wrestler in the 103 lb weight class.
