PREP WRESTLING: LaRue goes 4-0 at Bruin Duals (01/03)

Nick Paden and the second-ranked LaRue County Hawks are riding high after knocking off ninth-ranked Union County on Saturday at the Central Hardin Bruin Duals.
LaRue County beat Union County, 36-23 in the third round of the 12-team duals at Bruin Gym, and Paden feels the win will go a long way for the Hawks.

Mat Hawks topple sixth-ranked Union County

It is widely known that the second-ranked LaRue County Mat Hawks have some tough light and heavy weight wrestlers. But recently, the middle weight wrestlers have started to flex their muscles and this past weekend were a major reason why the Hawks beat sixth ranked Union County, 39-26 and helped the team go 4-0 on Saturday.
The Hawks whipped Boone County (78-6), South Oldham (70-10) and Louisville Moore (70-6).
The Hawks, ranked in duals behind only Union Ryle, had seven grapplers go unbeaten Saturday: Nick Paden (112 pounds), Caleb Canter (125), Shawn Hull (145), Vince Couch (160), Bernard Ray (171), Drew Newberry (215) and David Blair (285).
Five others
