Trinity will be hosting a "Scrimmage tournament" Saturday, March 4th. Wrestling will start at 10:00 am. and go till 2:00 pm. The format will be very simple. There will be no weigh-ins. There will not be age divisions or weight classes. There will not be awards or an entry fee. It will work like this: Show up at Trinity. Look around the room for wrestlers that you would like to wrestle a match with. Ask them if the will wrestle you. If they agree, you will acquire a bout card that is already prenumbered. Fill in your names and wait for your bout # to come up. It's that simple. None of the waiting for brackets to be drawn. No showing up and finding there is nobody in your weight class. The event will take place in the Marshall Sports Center @ Trinity High School. We will have 2 mats. Coaches will officiate the matches. Time and score will be kept. there are a couple of wrestlers from university of the cumberlands that want to come up and wrestle. they are bpth around 160-170. but they dont want to drive the 3hrs to louisville unless there will be other ppl to wrestle. one is a state champ from florida and one is a 2x KY state placer. so if anyone is coming that would like to wrestle these guys send me an im or posr a reply.

yea there wasnt many middle weight guys4 fer creek high school kids were there myself, johnny wolsiefer, ben barger and kyle hardin thats 152,160,171,and 145 there were some good wrestleres mostly smaller kids but some decent such as eric bryant, josh lewis, marcus bradburry,the florida state champ (beat johnny wolisifer but johnny is outta shape.) yea some simon kenton kids went not 2 many really outstanding kids

i would have to say the biggest upset was bradbury beating mccually. mccually was the 96lb state champ.
