you cant say voth without saying Daniel Murner since he did beat him...but it does make sence b/c he was derek scotts partner all year long...

and lets not forget Taylor Sherer... 3 state championships...and im not sure that anyone took him down all year...if they did, i didnt see it...and i saw him beat the defending tenn. state champ 8-4 this year too...he took him down 3 times...

My list would go as such.

1. Richard Starks

2. Jacob Murton

3. Taylor Shearer

4. Coty Lewis

5. Derek Scott

6. Pat Banks

7. Travis Sullivan

8. Austin Cooper

9. Daneil Thuenerman

10. Rob Aylor

bibbs is a takedown machine

Aylor is a good one to be on that list, you could have a single on him with his knee all the way up to your chin and not be guaranteed a takedown.

I would have to put Wolsifier (Fern Creek), and Banks in the top 5. There doubles were awesome. Caleb Wood also is good on his feet.

I think Malcom Jackson should be on that list somewhere. Dont forget he beat Peace 13 to 6 ( he took peace down 6 times ).

Yeah but murner cant hit spladles on people standing up so why should he be in that list

And yes suprisingly taylor was taking down this year I saw it at WCI by Byrd actaully and that tenn state champ took him down plenty of times, that guy is out of shape n has no experience either tho he was juss real strong

Shouldnt Joe Powers be in there somewhere..he definently Destroyed theunemen on his feet, and matt mines in the finals, Joe is one of the best wrestlers on his feet in the state....

hold-ure-mud:

I did not see much of Wolsefier this year. I was basing what I saw this year at the state tourney. And he would not break my top 10 here. He countered in the state finals to win the title.

Invincy33:

I did not see Malcom at all this year.

Southern112:

Powers takedowns were powerful but he just reaches and pull them in (no technique). He mostly countered Thuenereman in the simi's.

None of these break my top 10.

carmeron bibbs and ozzy parker are quick off there feet its like the whistle blows and the next thing you know you got taken down.

There is NO way eric bryant is 5th best wrestler from nuetral!

Bryant had 59 wins this year he must be pretty good from neutral.

OH geesh here we go again.

Starks is so good, he could leap 10 feet into the air ... hover there like a hummingbird, and then do a back somersault and land behind the guy. 8)

DA Hornetssssss !!

Ok, enough sarcasm ... STarks is awesome ... but come on.

I think Caleb Wood should be on the list, his barrel roll is hard to stop and he has hit it on some of the best (Coty, Murner)

That list looks pretty good, not sure who I would bump for him...but Pat Banks looked AWESOME on his feet at state. All of these guys are good, but I'd say he would be in the top 5 on this list. Also, if Wolsiefer would be on the list, you have to have Josh Cooper, I think he was the better of those 2 on their feet at state.

Boy I sure would take that kind of luck.

3 time placer in the state tourney?

You don't get luck you make your own luck.

Obviously someone is a little jealous or Bryant's success and probably got their tail kicked by him.

Eric Bryant is such a polarizing figure. He is a little guy from a little school that people either love or hate. I think that is really interesting.

Whichever side you are on, I wrestled Mr. Bryant as much as anyone in the state, and will testify that he might not be the "best in the state" on his feet, but he definately doesn't suck. Early in his career he was a good thrower, in the middle he had a really unorthodox yet effective shot, and last year he had an array a pretty good techniques including a pretty nice fireman dump, which I particularly liked :D

Dunno. But if Bryant placed 3 times on luck alone, i need to contact this guy and take him to Vegas with me.

I think that monkeyroll guy might have an adverse affect on Bryant's fan base ... but just a guess. Bryant's always been pretty personable when i've talked to him ... seems like an ok guy to me.
