Yea we had a senior on our team that has made it to state the 2 years now and he had some docter problems and they wouldn't pass him untill last Tuesday and now since we missed the tournament he can't wrestle this season.
Our 135 wasnt able to certify on saturday so now we have to bump up a 130 and have a wrestle-off at 140 between two wrestlers who should both be starting
yea we have the exact same problem on my team, our 140 that was injured all year was just cleared to come back this week and he about killed himself to get down to 137 so he could give this other kid a spot but since the weather messed up the tournament they are going to have to wrestle off for 140 and one kid will be jv which is sad because they are both good wrestlersOur 135 wasnt able to certify on saturday so now we have to bump up a 130 and have a wrestle-off at 140 between two wrestlers who should both be starting
This shouldnt have been a problem for the serious athlete....Why???????? because the serious athlete would have had their weight under control and would have been certified before now.....At latest they should have certified around the dragon invitational

Our 135 was around 136 at his last weigh in. He came in late from football then decided to cut to 135 when it was decided that would be best for the team. The 140 at the time was going 145 because Robbie Sahms was out

well there are exceptions to everything but alot of kids dont struggle with cutting the weight. they struggle with their self control and try to cut down 24 hrs before a match when if you learn the correct ways to control your weight you will manage to have alot more fun and a lot less problems
