St. X doesnt allow it

I would think that most teams are practicing.  Especially now so close to post season.

I thought public schools had a rule that if there was no school there was no practice.  I think it can be waived under certain circumstances.

I can't say for sure about this year, but in years past our school DID practice on snow days. I actually called the County School Superintendent about it once to see if there was a policy. I was told it was left to the discretion of the school's principal. When I called the principal, I was told it was left to the discretion of the athletic director. And when I called the athletic director I was told it was left to the discretion of the coach. I'm sure each school (county? coach?) is different.

If school is cancelled in Jefferson County due to inclement weather teams are not allowed to practice.

Numerous HS and Jr H.  State Placer have been attending these open practices each week. I wanted to invite all KY wrestlers.

All practices will be held at Cincinnati La Salle High School

This club is designed for the committed wrestler who wants to reach their full potential. Training with other top notch wrestlers through intense drilling and live wrestling week after week will advance you to the next level. Each practice will physically and mentally challenge you and help you get ready for your next competition. If you are serious about reaching your goals for this upcoming season this club is for you!

Each practice will consist of a short technique lesson, intense drilling, and then live wrestling. Both age groups will have 40-50 wrestlers who are serious about training hard.

$10 per session

Sunday 7:00-8:30(k-12)

Monday 7:00-8:30 (K-8)

Tuesday 7:00-8:30 (K-12)

Wed. 7:00-8:30 (K-8)

Thursday 7:00-8:30 (K-8)

Club ends: March 18th- Then we will roll right into our Spring Club

I had to get permission from the AD before I could hold practice.  There's not a policy in Bullitt County to my knowledge, but it's highly frowned upon unless you seek permission 1st and are granted it to do so.

North practiced.  Pretty sure South and OC did too.

Are you telling me that no basketball team in Jefferson Co practices when school is cancelled?

And if so do you think this would be true if it was the week of the district or Regional tournaments?
