Ryle is taking all 14. Campbell County is taking 11.

Out of region 3, Meade co is sending 13, Southern is sending 12, and PRP is sending 11.

Seneca is sending 10 Qualifiers and 1 alternate.

Check out the one seeds:
In region 1, Union County has the most one seeds with 8.
In region 2, LaRue County has the most one seeds with 8.
In region 3, Southern has the most one seeds with 6.
In region 4, Trinity has the most one seeds with 10.
In region 5, Eastern has the most one seeds with 6.
In region 6, Campbell County has the most one seeds with 6.
In region 7, Woodford County has the most one seeds with 4.
In region 8, Johnson Central has the most one seesd with 6.

University Heights Academy only has 8 varsity wrestlers...all 8 qualified for state !!
They need to realign some of these regions badly. No offense, Meade Co, but 13 qualifiers??? Will Meade even place in the top 20 as a team? Ranger has them at #19 and that sounds about right. They only have one wrestler ranked in the top 8 (Crow at 215).
fort campbell has 6.. Should have one more but our 189 blow out his elbow.

I couldn't agree more. The regions definitely need to be realigned!!!! The number of teams needs to be the first consideration for realignment and secondly location. The last thing to be considered should be the strength of competition in each region (This would be the best thing for wrestling in the state of Kentucky).

Fern Creek is the same...8 wrestlers...all 8 qualified. And all of them had to win at least 1 match to make it.. :-D
