I'm trying to pull together some preseason rankings together to see what the weight classes look like right now. I've heard urban from university heights might be at 160 and gabe Ervin at 125? Can anyone confirm these or give me other wrestlers weights? And on another note 112 is looking STACKED right now.

I'm looking at 119 being stacked with Wade, Chase, and whoever else moves up from the 112 group

David has dominated Gilkey every time they've wrestled

Yes he has at 103 but GILKEY wrestled 112 for a while and actually beat me once so I give him props Im just sayin since Gilkey has actually wrestled 112 I think he deserves the spot for now but when the season starts he says he's dropping to 103 after Christmas I think so either way SAHMS is going to be 3rd in region.

Youre a mighty fine wrestler but wrestling David is completely different then wrestling Nick or I. You two are gonna have an amazing match. I personally think that considering David has teched or pinned Gilkey everytime they've wrestled I wouldn't switch their positions no matter the weight.

yes we should have a full squad, and im not sure we tryed not to pay attention to palceing in team tournaments because we only had 7 wrestlers last year

Hopefully we'll have close to a full lineup, but I thought that last year as well. Yes we finished 6th,but we only had 8 wrestlers, but we had five state qualifiers, two 5th place alternates, and a sixth place who was injured in the 5th place match.

I tried to fill every weight class. Some we'll just have to wait until the season to see whose competing for those top spots. All in all region 1 is looking pretty stout this year. It's going to be a fun season

In conclusion i'd say 112 is probably the most stacked weight class, and Union will most likely be the region champions this year. It will be interesting to see which team will step up and take the number 2 spot. Watch out for Tilghman this year, we're returning a lot of veterans and we've got some great young talent  :mrgreen:

I believe Keegan Agnew and Taylor Saturley are both going up a couple weight classes. Keegan has looked alot bigger from football and Taylor was at 130 when I talked him during soccer season. And I'm almost positive Gilkey is moving up, he barely made weight last year

Alright thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll have a better idea of where people are after the takedown tournament this weekend even though half our team wont be at the weight classes they'll be in for the season. I'm not sure who all is going, but I'm assuming it's mainly region 1 teams.
