Reigning 215-pound state champion, LaRue County junior Drew Newberry, tore his meniscus and knee in a football game last week. He is out the rest of football season and will miss wrestling season.

He should be back for both for the 2011-2012 school year.

Well I would just like to say Drew is one hell of a Football/ Wrestler in this area, and I hate to see any kid get hurt..All of our well wishes are with him........Get better soon Drew!

he was a great athlete and i loved watching him wrestle but i hope to see him his senior year pray for drew
