How is your booster club account set up?  I have been asked to be treasurer of the booster club. Is the account in the school name?  Your name personally?  Do you have 2 signature checks?  Do you have a debit card for the coach to use?

Many schools have booster clubs.  That is where the majority of the funding for our team comes from.

501©(3) nonprofit corporation.  Make sure you have a good lawyer and good CPA help get it set up right.

To save time reaching everything check with your AD,  he can link you up with an established booster organization within the school (football, baseball ect...)and can get bylaws and most everything you need from them.
