How would I find out who is the youngest kid to qualify for MS State?
My son was 9 and in 3rd grade last yr and qualified.

John Shirkey - East Oldham - qualified for MS state as a 3rd grader in 2005.
He was 8.
That same year David Rich wrestled in the tournment. He was in the second grade. Jacob Erdman wrestled in it as well in the 3rd grade. I know the year before Clay brown wrestled as a third grader as well. When the weight classes went down to 60 there were more young kids that qualified. I'm sure there were many more.
Brent Hitchings was a middle school state champion as a 4th grader. He beat Elliott Martin(Seneca), an 8th grader in the finals in OT.
