This is my top five best defensive wrestlers. what are yours ?

1.Banks(he can be offensive too)

2.wood(hard to get points against when on top of his game)

3.sullvan(just good all around)

4.wolsifer(the best wrestler in the state)

5.jackson(sometimes offense is the best defense)

Why would Sullivan be 3rd ? he is a two time State Champ..

Being a defensive wrestler is not necessarily a good thing, If you cant score offensively then you will not be a state champ, You cant be a counter wrestler and expect to be on top. Sullivan, Courtney, and Wolsiefer should not be on the list their totally offensive just because they cant be scored on doesnt mean that their a defensive wrestler it means their dominant. IMO

I have mentioned this in another thread.

I believe that most from Harrison Co. would fit in this catagory, with the exception of possibly Ashbooke.

Wasson, Sanders, Ward, Hall, and Murdock are all defensive wrestlers.

Out of the bunch Sanders had the best success. But as was mentioned they will not be able to win the big matches unless they become more aggresive.

Wasson: may be the best of the bunch, but he has got to become more aggressive in his matches. He has lost many matches that maybe he should not have last year.
