What days and where ?

this saturday at Conner High school.

Anyone know the pools ?

They will be decided Sat. morning.

Campbell County won.  (Note - Ryle brought their JV team.)

( Second Note- Ryle took second with their JV Team )

Wake up NKY teams. Ryle has an awesome program but the JV team was not Varsity caliber.

Some teams just dont have the numbers, forfeits.  A few teams just need a coach.

Coaches if the majority of your team doesnt know any technique or basic wrestling, it has nothing to do with the cafateria food that your school serves.  :x

I may be mistaken but I think that Ryle and Campbell may have been the only teams with full squads.

Most of the other teams forfeit 3-4 wt. classes.  If that happens you only have to win 4 out of 10 to win the dual.  Not a hard accomplishment, even for a JV squad.

Nky may have a lot of schools with teams but almost none of them have full squads.

The teams are Bishop Brossart (3rd year program) Newport, Campbell Co., Boone Co. (Maybe 5th year program), Conner, Ryle, Cooper (Mayby 3rd year program), Holmes (Never has a full team), Dixie, Simon Kenton (Varsity at the SWOCA also), Scott.

The region includes Walton Verona (2nd or 3rd year program), Grant Co. (1st year) Scott Co. (1st year)

Not saying that Ryle's JV getting second is not a great accomplishment, but lets put it into context with the other teams in the NKAC.

Most people know that at regions Ryle and Campbell with take up two placements at region in each wt. class and the other schools are fighting for the other two slots.

Why are we having trouble getting full teams in N. Ky?  Is this comparable to other parts of the state?  How many N. Ky. schools have youth wrestling?

The ones I can remember are : Raiders,Conner SK, WV, Campbell and Dixie .
