Still don't understand this cancellation. Are the roads really that bad?
Lex school would not let them travel..
interesting to note though that the Fayette County schools were able to host 2 basketball tournaments today AND that Woodford's girls basketball team was able to travel today... :-o
Franklin Co. had to cancel early last week because the tournament was being held 4 miles past the limit that they are allowed to travel.
In some parts of KY, the roads were HORRIBLE. It varied depending on where you live. Some places got all snow, no ice. Some got snow, topped with a half inch of ice, some got ice only.

What does Woodford County's girls team being able to travel have anything to do with Lexington schools?
And I'm guessing the school system allowed those tournaments to be held because their kids didn't have to leave the county.
