Just got back from the North Oldham Dominator. I thought it was a very competitive tournament, there were a lot of great kids out there against each other. Everyone was on the top of their game and made for quite an entertaining day. I also think it was run quite smoothly except for how it started late. But the roads weren't too good so I could understand, I believe Anderson couldn't make it because of the roads. The officials were overall doing a good job, not too many big mistakes during any matches. So a pretty nice tournament on NO's part. Post what you thought about the tourney, and any results you may have. Here are my results.

82- AJ Binder from North Oldham picked up the win against Derek Wiley from Connor.

89- Joey Skaggs from TurkeyFoot beat Jorge Vega from Fern Creek

96- Was kind of busy so I didn't catch this one, I believe someone out of Fern Creek won though

103- Still busy while this match was going on, but Hudson Heidorf from North Oldham was victorious

110- Keegan Duncan from North Oldham beat Andy Wilson from Connor

117- John Shirkey beat someone from Woodford County. I don't believe I can't remember his name because it was a great match, with John eventually winning 2-0                                                                                                                                   

124- As usual I wasn't paying too much attention, but I believe a kid from

Moore pinned Woodford's 124.

131- Still not sure on the names, but someone from Turkeyfoot beat a Moore kid by getting the lead in points using a takedown with a second left

140- Lukas Miozza of Trinity defeated a kid from East Oldham

150- Bradley Miller of Crosby was victorious over an East Oldham kid

Above 150 I am not sure because I left about halfway through the 165 match. If you know any names of people mentioned, or have results I didn't get, then leave a post to help out

70= Nick Wise

75= Jack Fallon(Woodford) 6-0 over Zane Brown(Trinity)

Noah Forrest won the 96lb. class.Joey Skaggs won MOW.Team results were North-1st,Moore-2nd,Fern Creek-3rd.

Nick Wise was 2nd at 70,He lost to Joey Roberts from Woodford in OT.

Not sure of names but Fairdale won 185 and Turkeyfoot won HWY.Cant remember 165.

131 - mikey smith from moore pinned nick bass from east oldham. no one from east was in the finals at 140.

The winner of the 124 match was Jeremy Brandstetter from Conner over a wrestler from Moore. He won with a takedown as the time expired.

The winner of the 165 match was Jacob Warwick from Conner over a wrestler from Moore.

Very long tournament. Some wrestlers (4 weight classes) didn't get on the mat until after 3:30pm. Not sure why that happened?

Probably a lot of factors. Firstly it started late anyway. And there were tons of byes because of Anderson not being able to make it. Some kids had their first match in the 3rd round, while others in the same bracket wrestled every round. But you can't really blame North Oldham for the weather

And does anyone know why Shirkey was at 117? Was he over 110 and moving up or was he just moving up because 110 for East Oldham was full? I think it would be the latter because I saw at least 2 or 3 East Oldham 110s. If anyone knows for sure that would be great.
