pound allowance?

hope not they just got a two pound weight allowance on Jan. 1st. Why have a set weight class then.
sometimes when they have snow days, though, they give the boys a one pound allowance on top of that allowance. like 110's can actually 113, etc..
just wanted to know.

If any team in a Region did not have school today and was prohibited from practice...every team in that Region will get 1 additional pound tomorrow.
The 2 pounds are a growth allowance that most kids at this age need b/c they are growing so much.
The extra pound for missed practice due to weather is straight out of the NFHS rule book.
