Its not Vision Quest but still looks like it revolves around amateur wrestling. The kid is not a well-known actor, he was a state champ in NJ they cast to play the role.

And it's got a realistic plot that an Ohio kid would go to New Jersey and just whip xxx. 
Good movie, but be aware there is alot of cursing. but other than that I truly enjoyed it.
I got an e-mail from a parent now in Chicago that she just saw this movie and that it reminded her of me.Now, I need to figure out if it is Mike, Terry, Kyle or at my age it was probably Leo.
