Thank you Mr. Smith for all that you do for the wrestling community in our great state. Nice looking singlet, dont know who was complaining, but I thought the previous singlet was pretty awesome also. Keep up the great work and thank you for all the e-mails throughout the year that keep us up to date with the current events, "keep em comin'".
I never had any issues with the singlet. We got a couple snide comments from other states how Ali was a boxer not a wrestler. Most people wanted our warm ups and backpacks. My whole philosophy with singlets is I prefer designs over pictures. My most treasured singlet is Virginia's from last year, tie-dye with a simple VA on the front and Virginia down the back. That and Pennsylvania's singlets were the two most sought after singlets at Fargo.
I do like the new design though
Just a suggestion. Maybe we could hold a contest for the kids where they submit their designs for any future singlets. It would be simple enough to create a blank singlet on a sheet of paper for the kids to fill in (front and back), then maybe have a group pick the top 3 or 5 then let everyone else vote on a winner. With the sublimation techniques of today anything is possible and our state is full of creative kids. Just a thought, but it sounds like it would be fun.
