2. Who thinks this will be one of the most tense seeding meetings in long time.

For sure going to be tense. I would like to see how Campbell seed there wrestlers who have been bumped around.

How does the seeding criteria work for regionals?

Head to head and common opponent mostly.

I want to see if anyone bucks the Meyers from being seeded #1. I know there are a lot of you that say...head to head, record, so on and so on. Then after all that....there's common sense. Or should I say perceived common sense. Past accomplishments should probably get them where that should be seeded.

It would be stupid to not seed them. The whole point of seeding is to seperate the top athletes. If they ignore the Myers they could draw in anywhere and possilbly knock another top seed into the consos in the first round

I would put stephan in over jones at 152

Do not forget Morris from Dixie at 152. I believe is record is somewhere around 38-40 wins and 5-6 losses. Real district contender.

152 is going to be one of the toughest weight classes in the Region to make it to state. You have

To unstir the pot I'll post for him. The only person at CC that can push/hang with Austin is Jacob Holbrook. So, I'll say you're way off.

I agree with oldwrestler81. Maybe I'm just as biased at good old dad, but I can see Cornett taking it to Meyers. Cornett just beat Darrow last week and the kid always seems to wrestle well against strong competition. Big kid matches are always close and I think this one could go either way.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. Austin Myers beat Steve Holland earlier this year. Holland is ranked 3rd I think. Not 2nd. So, I think if the Dixie kid pulls out a victory against Myers it will be a stunner to say the least. Given Myers has been off the mat for a couple months, I'm going to say Myers with by fall in the 2nd period.

Not the old man, but I was all hyped up to see a match between the Myers boy and the Dixie 220... while I am not trying to downplay the Dixie wrestler, Myers beat him like what 16 to 4 and then stuck him. The only 4 from Dixie were from Myers cutting him. Ill just say this... I've been watching the Myers for years and they aren't in wrestling shape right now... should see them when they are. How's that for stirring the pot...

Has anyone heard how Jacob Clark of Simon Kenton is doing? Tough to see that happen (an injury) to a good wrestler in the finals.
