Well you got the big 3 from Region 1. Trae Blackwell of Union, J.J. Killebrew of Christian County, and Chase Boone of Ohio County. Out of those 3 I think Trae has the definate lead but between J.J.'s atheleticism and Chase's muscles I can see any order of those 3 on the podium. Anyone outside of Region 1 rearing to give those guys a run for their money?

Sure...I think both Adams and Shirkey can give any of those guys a run for their money.

Doesn't mean they cant come back and beat him. If that was the case they'd just go ahead award him a first place medal. Killebrew is very tough but he's not heads above the top 5. No one is in my mind.

Didn't Blackwell beat killebrew 14 -4 or something like that ,may have even cut him loose a time or two

I had a chance to see Blackwell early in the season. He was hit his stuff with authority. Very impressive.

Blackwell is the very dominant wrestler in this weight class and don't see anyone pulling out an upset over em

He's very good but not a shoe in by any stretch. There are some very capable wrestlers in this class. I don't have a dog in the fight. Any one in the top 5 can take it.

Not to take anything away from Blackwell but I heard killebrew was really sick. Truth to this unknown. And union did sit Blackwell when it came to wrestling Boone. But it will all come out sat. The state tourney for 115 is in region one sat.

It is at the point that there are former state qualifiers who might not make it out of region 1 this year with those top 3. In my opinion I would rank them in the same order I listed above but in a 1a 1b 1c manner. Trae has pulled ahead so far and probably is the most well rounded of the 3, but of course there is the fact Chase has been to the state finals before and J.J. is a freak athlete.

It is true JayJay had the flu when he wrestled blackwell, wasn't even going to wrestle the match. That is true region is this weekend and the champion will awarded this weekend. I do have a dog in this fight and i am confident in my dog to pull it out no matter what the circumstances are handed his way. He will be prepared for whoever and whatever!!!

I think that's what I just did...What don't you understand about that ?.....Just a feeling on those 4 I mentioned.....Killebrew has a great shot at the 2,3 or 4 spot too. Those were my picks and I am sticking to it !
