National Training Saturday @ SK

Topic ID: 8413 | 7 Posts

Saturday 3/17 we'll be having a training session at Simon Kenton in the practice gym at 11:00. This is going to be for high guys but you don't have to be attending a national tournament to participate. Last week we have several state champs and many state placers in the room. If you're coming up from Louisville or Lexington please PM me so I can try to get some sort of head count.

Are you going again this Saturday?

Not at SK, I'm going to be out of town. I know Cooper is heading to Union County if anyone want to go I'm sure you can catch a ride if they still have room.

SK had some great open Matt's wed surprised there were big boys there also a state placer from oh around 150 jimmy Sandlin big numbers and kida of all sises pretty impressive just wish the HS kida wouldn't play around so much guess its off season and ok noticed some of the CC kida goofing off quite but well no names but S M and P H look good at times I wonder how good they could be I they practiced as hard as the CC underclass men S F and A M , nice to see the coaches stepping up and getting on kida for goofing off also enjoyed the comeback from one of the slackers about all that CC fooling around he was accused of getting him a super bowl ring . That's hillarious it's awesome I know people are serious but everyone had fun with it ,Super Bowl ring seriously P H just let them get on you some times for slacking its not like they really think you are heck your there so no one really thinks you are they are just letting you know you an some of the others could be even better if you and that super slacker S M would show up an go full out and don't get showed up by freshman work ethics .!

:), and I wasn't goofing off. I was just letting him know I had already weight lifted that day

We still have plenty of room for anyone who wants to come train down here this Saturday, the 24. Just let me know. I know Caleb Ervin is in town for spring break and I almost have him talked into showing a little bit of technique, seeing as he wrestles for one of the top D-I clinicians in the business (Jim Heffernan). Many of our better middle school kids will be gone to Danville for the middle school duals, but most of our high school boys will be there and some pretty tough elementary kids.

Oh, and it's $50. Trevor Moody (IN) will also be down.
