It has been brought to my attention that Patrick Keal has been diagnosed with cancer this week. I ask our wrestling community to say a prayer for him. Patrick wrestled at Louisville Trinity and was their leader and captain and placed 3rd in 2004.
Patrick attends UK as Governor Scholar, served as president of his fraternity and had been very active in trying to revive a wrestling program to at least a club status.
He was transferred to UK Medical Center yesterday and will be undergoing treatment there.
