Outstanding job to both Sean and John. FILA Cadet top 3 for Sean is a great showing. All that hard work is paying off!! As far as Fahey goes, I thought you had to be in college in order to wrestle at University Nationals. For him to enter as a high school senior and come away with FILA University All-American is a big deal. This is another example of KY wrestling getting better every year. Good job also to Cooper and Lampe. It looks like both wrestled well and came close to placing. Too bad there weren't more KY kids in the tournament.
I know the critera gave ages 18-24 not sure if you have to be enroled or not, but I do know John is taking some summer courses so maybe that qualified him to wrestle. And yes Kevin and John Lampe both wrestled really tough. Cooper was a controversial call at the end of the 3rd period away from placing agains the MI kid.
