Wow congrats to Walton , Brown and the Jones , Diesel tourny , Hvys look extremely tough , particularly Bryant , very impressive
Congrats to trinity
A lot of great wrestlers at this tourney! The finals had some drama at 132, but great matches in the other weights....lots of studs that I know we will be seeing at the horse park in February. Moore was short a couple and Trinity didn't have Kahl, but tied going into finals made for a great finish with Moore having 3 in the finals and Trinity with 4. Hall got the win at 113, but Duncan majoring Pointer was huge win, then Hiedorf knocking off Whalen sealed it....Bryant looked like a freight train vs. a very tough kid in his final. Congrats to Trinity and Moore for making the finals a lot of fun to watch.
Congrats to Franklin County coming in 4th as a team and the 3 finalist Tevon Clay winning 1St 145lb, Corey Jacobs 2nd 106(beating a ranked kid also) and Rodrick Agyamen even though he got DQ. There was some unnessary drama from parents and some unsportmenship for wrestlers but over all it was a good do. this team is getting better by every second!!!
Franklin came in 7th behind Lafayette and Montgomery from Region 7
Franklin County had at least 3 starters out with injuries.
I believe they were 4th before finals. After Ageyman got dq'd, they took away all the team points he earned.
Similar thing happened at Caldwell last year where Fort Campbell lost all the points for David Sahms which would've won them the tourney.
