Barrett won the Woodford tourney at 170 and looked good doing it. He beat alot of ranked kids. I'm sure he will stay there.

Finals should be Vega and Binder....Binder is a good little wrestler without a doubt....Just sayin' ......Vega can GO ! Strong, great on his feet and super fast....Too much there right now for AJ ! Been there and done all that with 106 pounders....Vega was making it 113 and now should be a beast !

I am going off what I have seen from kids, yes I may have plugged some guys in soley on the rankings but that was only a few I have seen many county teams wrestle multiple times including X, Trinity, Moore, Southern, Manuel, Eastern, Fern Creek, Fairdale and one or two others. I do beleive there will be alot of upsets also, but if I gave someone a spot most dont agree with well hey thats why they are MY predictions and you would be wise to bet that I have seen them wrestle 1 or 2 times. Dont agree? Be my guest, I would Like to see yours also.

Lou fan a question for you, How do you have smith over lampe at 152 when Lampe totally dominated that walton kid and pinned him at the rumble after he beat smith by 2. And I do believe smith has a loss to Lampe this year.

because i watched lampe get pinned in 1 min against a guy that smith wrestled tough this weekend. thats how i made my pick. i know its a stretch but thats what makes it fun.

yes standafer is going 122 forshure and for the rest of the season.. alot of people never heard of him, and under estimate him, but i believe he will get recognized in the state tourny. at 122

Standafer is a very strong kid at 126, I'm sure he will do good at 122 if he can keep his strength at that weight.

How would you like it, if you were a #1 or #2 seed and drew Tyler first match because he hasn't wrestled all year to be seated ? that would stink. LOL. What Tyler did( a freshman,off for a month) and coming back to beat a wrestler as good as French( a Senior) is amazing.If Tyler wrestled year round like say a Mark Hall,we may all forget we ever heard of Mark.Tyler just loves football and he is dam good at that too. I hope St. X can find a way to get them both in the line-up.

Im sure they will find a way. If it was Lampe at 45?, Lampe at 52?, Tyler at 60?, French at 70?, Pledger at 82?, Bauer at 95?, Now that would be a line up hard to beat. But thats only if i guess.

I was at st. X for youth practice and they were talking about a stacked line up. So if I had to guess I'd say that's the line up

Colin Taylor beat Tyler Francrone at 160. Even though Taylor was 1 seed, I still consider that a very quality win/upset.

Vega won 12-10,and won MOW.You may have been right thirdround(and if you check my post I never said AJ would win,I just said you may not want to give Vega the medal to soon),But for a kid that wasn't suppose to be ready for high school kids he is doing a pretty good job.And if he was just a good little wrestler why is high school starting off like middle school ended.Beat AJ, and you get MOW.Thats enough respect in itself.But Aj will do what he always has and work twice as hard,so I hope everyone counts him out,thats what motivates him the most.

Seedings are based on records and like opponents ....not based on what they think ! The only rankings that count are the ones on February 16th this year...You have to earn those !

About right . I have seen all Americans not get seeded at tournys as fesh because they do not seed them they have no record it actually helps them if they are good they knock of a high seed early and ride it to finals if they can make

Seems he is a very good freshman and headed to the podium at state , when he knocks off a top kid or two or three he probably stays ranked high , lightweight fresh usually have it a lot easier than heavier underclassmen its not that rare and is expected , there is not an 106 in college or anything close lightest weight is 125 not many upperclassmen want to be 106 or 113
