State Duals Sectionals

Topic ID: 9146 | 30 Posts

Can someone please give a correct breakdown of each sectional small and large school? There is a breakdown on another post from early 2012 that is incorrect. Thanks!

Will region 1 small school has already happened with Union County and Fort Campbell coming out of it

Tried to find info on the KWCA website, but it hasn't been updated in quite some time.

hope this helps

2012-2013 KYWCA State Duals Split 6 Sectional Proposal.pdf

Isn't that the one folks said was incorrect?

This isn't the first one I saw. This one looks like the one they are following.

This is the correct one.

Sorry- can't be correct, as LaRue County is shown under Region 6 small school (which wrestles this coming weekend), but they have already competed.

New- If I am not mistaken, they don't all have to happen on the same day. All the matchups just have to be completed by a certain date. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. :)

You are correct. They just have to be completed by this weekend.

New2 is saying larue already competed in sectional (which I don't know is true). And that section6 small is this weekend. If both statements are true, larue can't be in small school sec 6...atleast I think that's what he is saying

LaRue's schedule has them down for Sectional Duals at Louisville Western this weekend. I think 'New" may be mistaking the Regional 2 duals for a sectional duals...

LaRue County has competed -- and beaten -- almost every team in its sectional. It still has to face Central on Saturday, which most likely determines which teams move on. Since LaRue has beaten every other team, they're more or less a shoo-in for State Duals.

Larue will have to face everyone in this tourney weather they beat everyone or not. Its a tournament to get in a tournament, just like regionals. They will just get a better seed in this tourny

I was just going off information Coach Canter gave me.

He said since they've beaten every other sectional team, they need only to face Central -- not that they won't face everyone else as well.

And several teams are not participating for various reasons. One of them is North Hardin, which is going to a tourney at Tilghman.
