If you could start this series a week later next year then you could possibly bring in a bunch of kids from Tennessee.  I know our high school (Clarksville High) plans to attend this year but our AAU state for the youth-middle school guys happens to be on this same day.  Our AAU state is traditionally always on the second weekend in March.

I would like to remind the Kentucky wrestling community about the 3rd Annual KWOA Spring Classic to be held on Saturday March 9, 2013 at Central Hardin High School. This event has grown from 124 wrestlers in 2011 to 296 wrestlers in 2012.

This will once again be the first tournament in the 2013 Kentucky USA Wrestling Belt Series Tournament. This tournament is open to all wrestlers from Pee-wee through University level. This tournament is a good way for all wrestlers to begin their off-season. Many High School and Middle School brackets last year were stacked with talented wrestlers from Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, & Tennessee.

Remote weigh-in locations are being strongly encouraged for this year’s tournament.
Please view the flyer on the KWOA website at www.kyofficials.com. and contact me with any questions. There will also be information available for this tournament at the KHSAA State Tournament & the Youth State Tournament next week.

Is this tournament and the Kentucky TOC going to be ran by the same people? Same weight classes and birth years?

Just a reminder about the KWOA Spring Classic (1st tournament of the 2013 Belt Series) to be held March 9 at Central Hardin.  I have had many inquries about this event and we are hoping for a great turnout.  All information is available (flyer included) on the KWOA webiste at www.kyofficials.com.

Thanks

Do we enter the wrestlers in Track?

Do we enter the wrestlers in Track?

That would be the preferred method. I would prefer all individuals register themselves.

It would be great if the ones running satellite weigh ins would contact me so i can give them a username and password and they could register wrestlers on site at weigh ins also and record weights.

If they are not registered and on a weigh in roster i will take care of it.

We will register ours on track. Can I just use the login I already have?

gpikul I have a question about the KWOA results for my sons bracket, Novice 90lb.  The bracket you have posted on trackwrestling has my son only wrestling 2 times when in fact he wrestled 3 different times plus he pinned all 3 of his matches and in the final they had him as a major when it should have been a pin.  I remember we had problems that day also because they kept messing up the kids and couldn't keep track of score properly but that is one thing I do remember very vividly.  The official on the mat that day was Hardy and I know it might seem I'm nit picking but when my son earned his pins and doesn't recieve them it's a slap in the face so I'd like to see what will be done about this to correct it.  I know for a fact that it was written on there each time he pinned because I personally made sure it was written after they kept messing it up. so I'm not sure how it changed in between or if it was just an over site but I'd like to see it corrected.   As I understood this last week scores were not kept properly on the pin times so it is all the more important that my son receive credit for his pins at least.
