Region 1 Rankings 1/21/13
Topic ID: 9215 | 21 Posts
Sorry for the hissy fit last week followed by the late post this week. School starting up again isn't fun for anyone and I still have to sit around with my destroyed knee. Also just letting all the non-believers know that it is in fact me doing these rankings and not half. I am the real thing and not some front for some shadowy Fort Campbell conspirarcy, just saying haha. Props to Fort Campbell for picking up some big wins this past weekend over Waynes County and Pigeon Forge (a top ranked Tennessee team). There aren't that many changes, not quite a slow week just no big results really happenned that I know of.

Great job as always
Thanks for the word on Shaffer/Brown Ohio guys haha
Is Frank Rosario, Paducah, dropping down to 126, or is he staying 32. This will change things a bit.
Any word on what schools going to ft.knox this weekend
Any word on what schools going to ft.knox this weekend
There is a thread for the Ft Knox Inv. started, but here are the teams:
Bullitt Central, Bullitt East, Christian County, Fort Knox, John Hardin, Lexington Lafayette, Nelson County, North Hardin, North Oldham, Ohio County, Owensboro, Owensboro Apollo, Spencer County, Taylor County and Louisville schools DeSales, Doss, Holy Cross, Male and Western.
If Rosario cuts to 126 then he will finish 4th as of right now
Ohio county's. Kyle ( the silent assasin) Bunch won mow award at Trojan invitational last weekend
Way to go Kyle you are a outstanding wrestler. Just kidding with the aka.
Congrats to our region. Union wins state and fort Campbell finished 5th
I don't understand how Caldwell is ranked team wise but Apollo beat them? Doesn't make much sense other than ward not being number one you did a pretty accurate job an expect the rankings in a few classes with Apollo going to meet Ohio and ft Campbell on Tuesday going to be some great matches
We will see if Apollo deserves getting ranked after Tuesday
Also the rankings are based off of probable regional tournament score and Apollo doesn't have as much depth as Caldwell does at the moment
Could be a shake up at 152, Bunch wins all at Ft. Knox.
Was this agnew's first in state loss? This is two great wrestlers.
I will do team rankings off a 20 point scale:
1. Union 20
2. Ft Campbell 15
3 Christian 11
4. Ohio Co. 8
5. Apollo 6
Trigg- 4 Caldwell- 4
I still don't get why your name is half, my fond memories of high school involved a lot of BEAR HUG!!! or ANKLE PICK!!!!
I will have new rankings later today, I don't have the brackets for Fort Knox just the top finishers so I will be making a lot of guessing for that.

Agreed about tournaments turning in results with the full brackets . It doesn't take much time and to me it can make a good tourney into a great tournament ! The Dragon drove me nuts finding out the results and I'm only doing 170 lol
