Here is the flier for the State Folkstyle tourney.  We will go off of 4 mats.  Let's make it a great tourney.  Any questions you may email or call Coach McCoy or myself listed on the flier.

New Albany, IN will be doing a remote weigh in.  Any other remote spots?

Folkstyle bout Lengths will be 1 -1 -1 (Pee- Wee- Novice) and  1:30- 1:30- 1:30 (Schoolboy- Open).

Meade County Would like to do one on Thursday the 18th 5:30 to 7:00.

Campbellsville University would like to on Thursday at 6:00. Is this possible?

Both of those are fine.  The Open division will wrestle.  The flier may read like they won't but they will.

Can kids bump to open and will there be some 220 there ??college kids ????

R u all going to use track wrestling to register wrestlers for this even ort how do we submit our weigh-in sheets (Format) and what is the deadline.

All remote weigh ins will need to be in by Thursday night. There will be a weigh in at Central Friday from 5-7 in the small gym. We are looking for a great turnout. I will list all remote weigh ins on Wednesday.

The following will be remote weigh in sites on Thursday:

 

New Albany 6:00- 7:30

Meade Co. 5:30- 7

Campbellsville University 6:00- ?

Scott County 5:00- 6:00

Daviess County- ?

 

It is not too late to have a remote site.  Please contact Chris or myself to let us know.  There will be a weigh in at Central on Friday from 5:00- 7:00.  I have heard from all over the state and we are looking for a great turn out.  Last year we were done wrestling by 4.  There will be weigh ins during each registration period but will end as scheduled.

Pee- Wee- Schoolboy

Registration 7:30- 8:30

Wrestling starts at 9:30

 

Session 2

Cadet- Open

Registration 11:00- 12:00

Wrestling starts at 1:00

Woodford Co. will host remote weigh ins, Thursday 7:00 in the wrestling room.

We will be starting on time.  Weigh ins and registration will be 7:30- 8:30 for Pee- Wee- Schoolboy with wrestling starting at 9:30.  Cadet - Open will weigh in and register from 11- 12 with wrestling starting at 1.  We should run smoothly and be out by 5 at the latest.  Looking forward to a good day of wrestling.  Who wants to be the "Kentucky State Folkstyle" Champion?!

Thanks again for all those that supported Kentucky wrestling.  We had a lot of experience for wrestlers looking to get better at home.  Just imagine if we built our own tournaments the way other states have. It would have been nice for 90 kids from Ohio to come to our tournament.  It all starts at home.
