Can't think of a better role model. He's the whole package. Good luck to Kyle Dake this weekend.

You know he wasn't even state champion his senior year of high school!

According to nysphsaa It has Kyle Dake (12) winning 2-1 over Mike Nevinger in the state finals in 2009.
I see Olympic and world titles in his future. Can't wait for the matchup tonight.

No kidding, looking at the results Taylor is out to prove something. It's going to be electric! What time does it start?
8. Lets go taylor
If Dake wins, it will be a slowed down "boring" match.
Should Taylor win, it will be an exciting match.
I'm pulling for an exciting match. It is hard not to like both these guys.
There is a chance that this match can decide the team race
Taylor, in an interview after his semis win said something to the effect that he will push the tempo to make this a high scoring affair.
He has tried that the 2 previous times. Dake is just so good at not getting out of position if he does somehow speed it up dake will find a way to turn it in to a scramble.. Lets go kyle!! 4x
That guy is special. I watched him his senior year at senior nationals and would have never predicted this.. congratulations to a class act!!
After the 1st takedown, I thought Taylor had it. Dake is a true Champion. Congrats Kyle.
After the first takedown it was all Dake. So glad to see him get it done against a phenominal competitor.
Wow! So wicked on top.

You are correct. Thanks for correcting that. Ian Paddock beat Dake for the state title their junior season. Still, it's quite a leap winning four straight NCAA titles without a redshirt.

Absolutely impressive, no doubt about it.
